International Seminar "Issues of Roman Law and Roman Maritime Law"

27 marca 2026 r. odbyło się międzynarodowe seminarium International Seminar "Issues of Roman Law and Roman Maritime Law", imprezy towarzyszącej 14th National Maritime Law Conference, Gdańsk, March 26, 2026. Spotkanie nawiązuje do tradycji International Seminars "Roman Maritime Law", organizowanych na naszym wydziale przez Zakład Prawa Rzymskiego od 2017 roku. W tym roku konferencja odbyła się w formie hybrydowej - online oraz stacjonarnie w budynku WPiA UG. Spotkanie otworzyli dr hab. Małgorzata Balwicka-Szczyrba, prof. UG – w imieniu władz dziekańskich oraz kierownik zakładu, dr hab. Jacek Wiewiorowski, prof. UG. Referaty podczas seminarium wygłosili przedstawiciele z kilku ośrodków polskich i zagranicznych, a w dyskusji wzięło udział kilkunastu uczestników (w nawiasach podano tytuły wystąpień): prof. dr hab. Zuzanna Benincasa, prof. UW (Sea fish ponds [piscinae] in Varro's treatise: lucrative businesses or caricatures of former villas?); dr hab. Jacek Wiewiorowski, prof.
